First week taking Milcipran - Fibromyalgia Message Board

Wel I couldn't wait to try the new drug designed specifically for Fibro. Well so far I do not like it. I constantly find myself with a lack of concentration and it seems to make the usual Fibro fog worse. It helps the pain a little, but the space out feeling is want I want to avoid. I know I'm suppose to be on this for a month before I can get full benefits from this drug, but I will give it only another week. Also nausea and digestive discomfort is another side effect of this drug. I will go back to Tramadol if this doesn't work.

Don't give up yet! I know with Cymbalta I had that "foggy, drugged-out" feeling for the first 2 weeks or so. It is completely gone now. I think if you just give this more time and try to work through the side effects, it might get better. Most all medications have side effects, ones that affect everyone different. I think the trick is learning to live and adjust to them until the medicine can do its job. Good luck!
