Minocycline - Fibromyalgia Message Board

Any one here take it (or have taken it?)

The ID Dr today said he would consider using this if all the other Drs agreed I need to be treated.... I have also been DX with FM... the discription said it can also be used for FM patients.

Never heard of it before but found some info on remedyfinder

Hi Leanne-
I take minocycline, and have for 2-3 years. Minocycline is not a drug for FM - it's an antibiotic drug used to treat, among other things, rosacea. I have rosacea and the minocycline works wonders for it when I have an outbreak. I've never read anything that said antibiotics work for FM.
