I've suffered from the same problem not being able to wake up or get out of bed in the morning for many years. It's much worse now because I cannot fall asleep easily at night it makes it even worse in the morning. Sometimes I'm up until 3:30am! It's terrible but I just cannot sleep and I hate it.
I use three alarm clocks and place them at three different places of my bedroom where I cannot reach from the bed. One goes off at 6am, 2nd one at 6:30am and 3rd at 7am. They are all very loud and they get louder as time goes and they will not stop for an hour or I manualy turn it off.
Sometimes all three are going off for an hour before I even hear it but at least I end up hearing it after awhile. I also ask my husband to wake me up by putting a cold towel over my face or physically remove me out of the bed and have me sit on the chair.
If anyone else has better solution, I would like to hear it
