Hi, headaches/migraines are a part of fibro, but also have their roots in other problems such a hormone levels. I think as female's when someone says hormones, we automatically think estrogen/progesterone, but people with CFS/fibro are often found to have problems with their thyroid, adrenals, and pituitary. Food allergies also play a heavy part in migraines. The are many additives in food that will trigger a migraine. I have an aunt with terrible migraines, who found that food additives were her major problem. You can do an elimination exercise to see if food is a contributor. This is way healthier for you anyhow. Eat foods that don't have labels. O.K. not easy. Go to simplier foods. Eat organic where you can. Get away from boxed processed food. Your meat and dairy are pumped full of hormones. Of course this is going to have an effect on you. Something you can get at the regular grocery store is a chic called smart chicken. They don't use hormones/antibotics on their birds. I have chosen to eat only organic meat and dairy because of all the hormones and antibiotics they pump in them. Yes there is more of an expense, but I just eat less of those products. We don't need to eat aywhere near the meat and dairy we consume. So eating less is benefical. I am so sorry you have to suffer with this problem. I hope you find ways to help remedy the problem and improve you life!
