I have tried Acupuncture in the past for problems, it seems to work for some things and not others. I also think that some people re-act better to it than others IMO.
I would like to know if those of you who had tried it liked it, what relief you got, etc... Since Insurance doesn't cover it, it won't be cheap but if it helps, even for a while, I am there.
Thanks everyone.
Peace and Love, Hangin

Hangin this is one I haven't tried, but I hope you get some responses cause I would be interested in the opinions of others who have tried it. Good Luck!
This is something that has been talked about before here. I have had it but for a different reason than treatment of fibro. I would have it again in a heartbeat.
As you say it can be expensive, but in my personal experience, the cost was well worth it.
The thing is though, make sure you have an accredited therapist to work on you. As with anything, in the wrong hands more harm can come of it than good.
Take care

I am not a medical doctor, I only speak from my own experience of the illnesses I discuss here.
My sister and I have both had accupuncture done and still go at least twice a month if not more. Just depends on how busy our doctor is. She was trained in accupuncture, accupressure, and manual manipulation.
I have had it done for my back pain and knee pain caused by the fibro and it really works wonders. IMO
She has also shown me how to do the accupressure myself at home that really does wonders too.
