Arrow Do you take Nortriptyline (Pamelor)?
I am extremely depressed and need to take something. My Dr gave me Nortripytyline which I tried to get started on twice (for 2-4 days) but I can't sleep and get bad headaches. Now they gave me Prozac but I heard Nortripytyline is better for Fibromyalgia so maybe I should give it one more shot. Will the side effects go away after awile? Maybe it will help to take in in the morning.

Is nortriptyline in the same family as elavil or amatriptyline? That is a gold standard that most docs prescribe, we have had a few threads on it. I personnally can't take it, it leaves me with a hangover the next day and really doesn't help that much with sleep.
