Post Jumping pain----help

This is my 4th day of pain, darn. This is where it is.

upper chest
low ribs
upper back
breasts
sides of breasts
neck and shoulders
upper arms.
collar bone
bra strap area

THAT IS IT!!!

The pain keeps moving from area to the other, but my entire rib cage is sore front and back. Anyone ever experience this?

Hugs, Linda

Re: Jumping pain----help

Linda, I've had every one of these when I'm in a flare. My dr. said she's had only a few patients with the painful ribs, but I'm one of them!

Hang in there, and hope this passes soon!

Linda,
I have had the same pains. I chase them with hot showers, heating pads, tears and quite a few choice words..I'm sorry that you are in such pain.I'm praying for you buddy. Soft, warm, hugs, peaceful thoughts. Wish there was more I could do. I know how bad it hurts.

Re: Jumping pain----help

Linda,
I get those same symptoms. Heat is the only thing that helps, as well as time and patience. Sleep, if you can get it helps too. If you can tolerate any pressure, sometimes a good massage will actually help work it out. It hurts a lot to go through this and I get sore, but the pain goes away faster. I liken it to literally being tied up in knots. It makes taking a deep breath difficult and painful, and then my asthma will kick up. Heat & patience. (Pain reliever won't even touch that kind of pain for me.)

Good luck!

Hi Matt and Donna,

Thanks for the reply, I hate when someone else has pain, but it does make you feel better to know you are not alone. I am much better today, at least right now, you never know where or when this dd will hit.

Hugs to you both, Linda

Have you noticed with the pain in the front and back of the ribs that you find
you feel like you have to take a deep breath all the time and it feels like you have to cough?
