wanna laugh, fibro people - Fibromyalgia Message Board

Hi everyone: I was checking out this web site Spine Problems or something like that. They said persons who get fibro are usually very intelligent, wealthy and are married. One out of 3 is not bad. I am educated, mind you not a rocket scientist, I live just above the povery level, since I cannot work anymore and I am a widow. Another laugh, like many of you, I am afraid of the dentist. Not afraid of what they will do but just stiffening up while laying on that chair. I have another appointment this Thursday. I take a pillow with me and a big ice pack, which I lay on my big leg muscles at the front. I am now known as the ice lady. I hope I gave someone a chuckle. The things we do to survive. Hi Still,

You gave me a laugh, as soon as I read the wealthy I laughed out loud. I've never been known as dumb and I am educated, but not as much as some people I know and I am married. But that is where it stops wealthy I am not and that cracks me up to think that anyone would say a disease could distingush between wealthy and poor, educated or not and married or single. Very funny thanks for the laugh and smiles!!

HI, Ice Lady,

Wealthy? I'm on SSI. Last time I checked, that didn't quite make it to wealthy.
I was married, am divorced, am educated, or at least have the pieces of paper.
Where they got those stats is beyond me.

Hope the dentist goes well for you. Dentists in any case are not my favourite people to visit.
