thank you for writing back. It has been tough trying to figure out what is going on with me. It is hard to determine the root of the issue. Is the disc the problem or not? It has been a fight, but regardless of what is going on with the disc, the fibro seems apparent. I have been getting more sedentary too, which is something that worries me. I used to be up for a bit after nine hours of class, now I am tired just after a couple hours of sitting there, I get figitiy and can't wait to get home to crash on the couch and turn my heating pad on. I am in love with that, let me tell ya. I just wish I had a whole body pad! I was on perc per my request before the fibro dx, and I have always wanted to come off of it. My mil is taking vicodin for hers, her doc in CA switched her to that. I don't care what I am on as long as I can function like a 28 year old and not an 80 y/o!
I am sorry to hear about your cousin. That is horrible. For me, I think it has been a load of stress. After my back surgery we moved into a condo and the Monday after we moved in my husband was fired. We were devestated. We had just closed on it the friday before. We were in Las Vegas at the time, I was on disability and he of course was making a decent living. We cut our losses, put the condo up for sale and moved home to MO and moved in with my mom. Us, our chihuahua and two cats. Half our stuff is still boxed up and it has been a year next month. It has been rough. I got my old job back the day we flew in but hubby went six months unemployed. Then, as soon as he got the job, I went into school full time. My grandparents are paying for school and supplementing the income I am not making. Sure that is awesome, but I am 28 and don't want help anymore!! Of course, bc of them, I will be a nurse in five months

Anyway, so much stress and it isn't over yet. WE are hoping to move again this summer after hubby completes management training and that is a whole nother issue. WE moved seven times in less than three years!
Right now I am just focusing on reducing stress and trying to get the pain under control as much as I can. Today I will find a chiro and get into acupuncture. My mil is sending me a nice check to cover copays. I am lucky to have such a supportive family.
I wish the best for you as well and if you ever need to chat, let me know!
