| Re: Felines and Fibro......
My cat, Kitty Tom, likes to sleep right on my chest, he weighs about 15 pounds. When he lies down he wants to lick my chin. I move my mouth so that while I am actually breathing normal, my breath hits him almost in the face. He'll back up a little and he's so big as he's turning to get comfortable he falls off me.
You know usually cats will do what they want, not what you want, I suggest pulling him close to you if you're on your side, when I do this Kitty Tom goes down to the foot of the bed. But first I pet him for a while, scratching his ears, that sort of thing, I figure he wants attentiona nd he knows I hurt too, so he wants to make me feel better, but with his weight, it doesn't work that way.
I have 2 chihuahuas and I haven't quite figured out how to keep them from jumping, walking on me while I'm in bed, or from trying to lay on my upper back when I'm in my reliner bent over the computer. Taco is there right now and it's hard to convince him it doesn't feel good. He and Ginger are worse when I try to take a nap, they're all over the place in bed, including being all over me. Hopefully as they get older they'll do that less.
Hope some of this helped a little.
