Just wanted to remind everyone that May 12, 2006 is the National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. If you have questions or have an event, please let the National Fibromyalgia Association know. They've already been hard work talking to the media and organizing events.
It's a great time to bond together and really show support. I've had fibro for 11 yrs so I'm glad to see progress. Let's keep it going!

thanks for the reminder, and a most joyous welcome to this little slice of peace we call healthboards.
in time we will slip respectfully into the anals of medicine. we will be known as the breakthru generation. we have torn down walls that took years to create. no longer called "mental" we pave the way for the next generation to have an easier time, at least with their doctors and the world around them.
I went on the site looking to find maybe something going on in my area or surrounding areas that I could attend. I didn't see any way of finding out that information. Are there groups that get together or something like that? If so, how can I find out?
