Hi jay welcome to the board. Don't know anything about the dopplar but as far as the appt. goes. If you have specific questions to ask the doc write them down or at least make crib notes for yourself. I find it is so difficult to remember all the things you want to ask without a list.
Every doc is different, but I think you can expect a lot of questions and a thorough physical exam. Also I am sure he/she will have bloodwork done. The doc may recommend some other tests such as MRI, CTscan etc. to rule out other problems and to make a diagnosis of Fibro.
I wouldn't expect too much in the way of a diagnosis the first appt. My experience with rhuemies is that they like to wait and see and test again before a definitive diagnosis. Good Luck! Keep us posted!
