| Re: Blood tests fine..What do i do now? Hi Sugarplum,
Please remeber 1st that you are not alone. I had every test in the book done from blood tests to MRI's to EEG's, I could go on all day. They all came out fine. There is no blood test I know of that will diagnose Fibromyalgia.. I know the feeling you speak of because I felt them 24/7 in the beginning and still feel them often. I don't know if you have been diagnosed yet with Fibro but just keep in mind that if you are, don't waste a lot of your energy trying to fight it or deny it and "push past the pain". Spend time deciding how you want to live with it. Once I got over the denial and as much anger as I could, I decided on taking the medication route because I have 3 young kids and I'm divorced. I try to rest as much as I can, and when it gets too bad, I find someone to help me. The internet is a great resource of the different tretments available. Don't waste a whole lot of time on people who say you are just depressed. It is a medical condition on it's own. But do keep in mind that being in so much pain all the time can cause depression. Getting therapy to get past the anger to the acceptance can help some people. Keep asking your doctor "what now??" If they do nothing, find a doctor who will. You deserve relief from your pain. And know that you are among a community of extrodinary people who are living this nightmare with you everyday, all of us having done nothing to deserve it, all of our lives having had some unfortunate negative impacts from it, but also all of us having had some major positive things happen as well.
Hugs,
Maria
