Hi Meghan...well I just posted on the thread...(jojo) and am kind of pooped out right now...looonnnnggg day....

DR. POWELL IS HOLDING A SEMINAR for the doctors in Sacramento...to talke about his findings!!!! I WANT TO GO I swear he is going to be on national T.V. soon....

I am sooooo thankful to have found him...

Will write more...I am dying to chat with you...so how are you? And nice to see a neightbor on here....hehe...How is the protocol working for you?? What does he have you doing?

Hi Meghan....I am not sure if the seminar he is having is for us too...he just said he was holding one for the Doctors in Sacramento.....I would REALLLLLY LOVE to go also...except don't know how much I would understand...hehehe...I am sure if you were interested in going call the office and see? I would just LOVE to be a fly on the wall ...

I was telling the ladies upfront about meeting you and Schao on here...

I have been battling Lyme, and Fibro and viru's for a very long time...I did the protocol for a year and then stopped for a year ...and now I am going back...Something was really messing with my head...the good news is my thyroid is working now...I don't have joint pain anymore...not down in bed alllllllllll the time....think once we figure out the majic pill to reach the bacteria, microbacteriums and Virus(s) that are imbedded in my scalp and or brain...I will be done with all of this mess....that will be a happy day...Which I am sooooo happy for all of the progress already....

I think we are pretty darned blessed that we have him as a doctor now...

I am still running low today...and started antiviruals and more antibiocs so hopefully tomorrow will be a more UP day.....

Keep fighing it ....we have the best ....yeah!!!!!

UGh I haven't been able to post, they said I did something but am new to this and I think this is my 2nd post so not sure what they are talkin about!

I saw Dr. P yesterday. I hadn't seen him in forever and Michael thought that it was time to see him to find out what was going on! UGH
So come to find out I am postivie for Epstein Barr and the CMV, so they are treating me for that right now. I started Valtrex bid and Ursodiol (which I am not liking) I already have stomach issues and it's NOT agreeing with me at all. But I am going to stick with it. He also did put me on Zithromax so we could get a bit of the Chlamydia...UGH I am so frustrated. I have been going there 2 years and he even complemented me on sticking with him thru all of it.

so I am ok...had a cervical epidural on Monday and my neck is feeling MUCH better so thank god my neck and back pain are tolerable right now.

HE did say I have another couple of years to go before I get off any of the protocols....UGH

Well Hi Stranger! Nice to see you are back on board!!

Say the same thing happened to me...I went and my dumb EBV..CMV were all flared up...I knew something was up....Doctor Powell put me on the same as you ...and I can breathe today...and I went for a nice long walk yesterday....head is clearing up with that croggie feeling...YEAH!! Dumb virus's. and also started the Ursodal...not having any problem with it...and m/w/f taking azithromycin...(zith)....

I know two other's that are seeing Doctor Powell....they will get their results of their blood test this month....I am excited to see what they have and how they do on the protocol....they both say like I felt and times now still do...Wow this is overwhelming...all the info and supplements ....hahaha...BUT I feel soooooo lucky that I found him....so so lucky...

I most likely talked to you about these goose eggs I have on my head...back in 1999 when I first was starting treatment for lyme....these things would swell up on my head in different areas then go down...Full moon and my period...last a few weeks then go down...and back then they would literally do something to my thinking ...CRAZY....Then went with them all those years they put it in my record that I was not mentally unbalanced that my problem stemed from my disease....well when I did Doctor Powell's protocoll the last time for a year...oh my gosh....THEY MOVED TO THE BACK OF MY SOFT SPOT and now are still sitting there...this last time I got to talk to Dr. P. and he agreed they have to be either virus (s). bacteria (s) or microbacterium (s)....either one or a combination or all 3....it is in the tissue...beings I had a doctor couple years back put a needle in there and nothing came out...I AM JUST SOOOOOO THRILLED THAT HE AGREES AND SAID YES THAT IS MOST LIKELY WHAT IT IS...doesn't make the aggrevation of having them any better...but now I have someone to work with me on it...

The way I feel about this whole protocol is yes I truly feel these research doctors know what they are doing...more than anyone I have EVER gone to...and I have been going here and there and even mayo always got slammed....they are just complicated bacterias to kill...like the lyme bacteria...so it takes years...no quick fix...but I feel the source of all the pain and crap are being whittled away...

Meme just stick to it...as best as you can....he is an awesome doctor....
Let him know when something isn't agreeng with you....like with herx's...just either wait them out a few days...or cut back and try again....

So glad to see you back on here...and I am really happy to hear you found some relief with your neck....when I was real sick I was wearing a neck brace and the possiblity of surgery....to fuse vertrabes together...well glad it never went that far...now killing off bacterias...MY NECK NEVER HURTS ME ANYMORE....
