Some of you are believers some or not, but my family are believers so I hope I don't offend those who are not.

The week before Christmas our son was out of town and our DIL called to tell us of some electrical problems in their house. They have a nice big two story that has the center hall with separate living and dining rooms in the front. They use the living room as an office as well as a comfy place to relax since they also have a family room for TV watching etc.

Since moving into this house our grandson has talked about seeing 'baby alice' and someone he calls 'agar' living in his closet. He is now 4yrs old and was 2 1/2 when they moved in. Children sometimes can see things we adults cannot or we adults won't open our minds to.

It seems the electric was flashing on and off this particular night and finally went out all together in the living room only. I tried to help DIL with the breaker box but nothing seem to be flipped and they have different kind of breakers than we do. Our friends came out to make sure everything was safe, no loose connections to worry about until our son came home. The electric finally came back to that room (no other room was affected) our son returned home and the coming and going for Christmas continued. Then Sat. morning before Christmas our son was busy and he saw a women go up their steps wearing a long denim skirt. He thought it was his wife at first then realized she didn't own a long denim skirt and she wasn't home. For our son this was not a big deal, he has always been intuitive and had premonitions. I'll just say one time he boarded a plane recognized the interior and the actual people as what he had seen in a premonition and a dream and decided not to fly on that particular plane. While waiting in the airport to change his flight, the original flight was grounded and the passengers de-planed because of mechanical problems that could not be repaired. This is only one of the many little things that has happened to him.

That Sat. evening they had electrical problems in that room again and this time also upstairs in the room above it. The lights kept flashing and dimming and sometimes would go off all together. Our son finally said this is enough and got his trusty meter had his BIL come over and help and he checked every plug to see if one of them had a short or something wrong with it. He followed a path through the house with his meter and when he came to a spare bedroom upstairs it was very cold in there. He continued through the house until he finally found a plug in the master bathroom that had burned not just burned out it was starting to burn the interior of the wall around it. It would have definatly caused a fire in the house with continued use had he not been annoyed enough by the flashing lights and outages to continue to check the whole house when he could not find a problem in the affected rooms. By the way the living room is a much used room and was where the tree was, they spend a great deal of time in there since the computer is in there. Oh and just so you get the picture the master bath is on the second floor of the house in the opposite corner. He had his neighbor the electrical engineer come and check things out that night and our friends made another late night call to be sure everthing was ok. The engineer said he didn't believe the burned socket could be connected with the living room circuit, it would be unusal since they were on opposite sides and ends of the house.

His BIL had to have proof of the presence of a spirit so he took the video camara to the cold bedroom and after a few strange moments where the nightlight went out and then became very bright and the digital clock would have the right time and suddenly read 1:11 and go back to the correct time he finally ask the spirit if she was there. The camara went fuzzy and blurry and you could here him make a few excited statments then he ask her if she would like him to leave and the camara went black without his help.

Our son and DIL thanked her for saving their family from a fire and told her she could move on. She stayed around a few days, the bedroom stayed cold and occasionally the banister on the stairs would be ice cold to touch. I have many things to be grateful for and this little Christmas 'spirit' is one of them! My family is safe and that just makes us true believers!
