I agree with mere71 you should be tested for Lyme Disease by Igenex Labs in Palo Alto, CA. You can go on the Lyme board and look at the sticky for symptoms and for an LLMD LYme Literate MD. Most doc's even the best Reumies out there don't realize that the Elisa test that they always use for initial diag. is very unreliable. Igenex reports all bands on their report not just a neg. or pos. The diag. must be made by patient history and by reading the bands. Most doc's do not know how to read the bands correctly, so it is best to find a LLMD, there is a list of LLMD's on the LYme board and if you don't see one in your area you can ask. Also look up Dr. Joseph J. Burrascano's Diagnostic Hints and Treatment Guidelines for LYme Disease and Other Tick Borne Illnesses, you can print it out, it should help you to understand more about the disease and the tests.
