Could this be Fibromalgia?
I'm very new here and just need some answers.
In February I was rushed to the hospital because over a period of 3 days, one side of my body became numb. I was diagnosed with "mini strokes" until the MRI on my neck came back and I was told I have two bulging disks that are pressing on my cord. I have had neck pain for at least 10 years but never was given an MRI until now. The weird thing is that my neck wasn't bothering me at the time I was getting numb. Not until 3 weeks later did it start hurting (constantly) I now have neck pain constantly. I also have headaches and my shoulders hurt all the time. My hips and knees have hurt for the last 20/25 years. MRI's showed nothing wrong. I am now tired all of the time and have no energy. I saw my Dr. today and he said I may have Fibromalgia. ??? He gave my Cymbalta for my depression and ordered another blood test. Does this sound like Fibromalgia? I'm so tired of the pain.
