Last'sGal back again...

Hi, all. Finally through the end of school craze. Four kids is hard enough without Fibro. Eeek!

Still on elavil... up to 20mg before bed. Was getting tired of no change, but realized a couple of weeks ago that I do have more energy. I'm not "wiped out" as much as before.

TiredBunni... sorry I missed your question before. I had to stop taking the Skelaxin within a week. It gave me RLS, in both arms and legs , at night when I laid down, so it didn't even get a chance to work.

He took me off the Relafin, as it had no effect. Unfortunately, the Meloxicam isn't doing anything, either. I asked him if there was something in between these NSAIDS, as I don't have inflammation anywhere, and the opiates. He said "not really." The Tramadol sort of worked, but it can't be taken with the Elavil, which I have to admit does seem to be helping my sleep. Since it's the only thing that is working at all, however small the amount, I don't want to stop taking that.

I'm still suffering from moderate pain that's always present and two or three times per week moves into the more severe "I have to lie down right now" arena. Any ideas out there I might discuss with the doc when I go back?
