Myobloc is another name for botulinum toxin type B (botox). They are the same thing and are used in medical conditions such dystonia - which I unfortunately have.
The side effects listed "might" cause a problem to some patients. The following side effects being listed does not mean that everyone will get them of course. If you do however, then you should report them to your prescriber or healthcare professional immediately.
•unusual bleeding, bruising, or swelling in or around the injection site
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your prescriber or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
•temporary muscle weakness or discomfort at injection site
I hope this information helps.
Please would you let know how you get on with - just to satisfy my own curiosity. As I said I have dystonia and am looking for an alternative treatment for it.
