Pain That Moves

Does anyone have pain that moves from one day to the next?

I have pain in my right hip that moves to my left groin and then moves to my lower back and so on. This can happen on a daily basis or even hourly. Just when I think one area has cleared, another one sets up. And then, it is back to the original area.

This is all occuring in my lower back and abdominal area. I don't know if it is IBS flaring or what. This has been going on for a month and I am really getting confused.

I hope you can help.

Re: Pain That Moves

I think that is the nature of FM. At least it is for me also. Migratory aches and pains. That is one reason my PCP first thought I had FM. One thing would hurt then go away only to have someplace else bother me. Lately though most of mine has been in the upper back, neck and shoulders with some other places thrown in sometimes for variety.

I had low abdominal pains for a month or so then stopped the Tramadol I had been taking at night and little by little that went away. I still get a vibrating sensation in my lower abd (pubic bone area) that has yet to be explained.

I think we get all kinds of weird things.

Good luck and be well.

Thank you. Does your pain move on a daily basis?

Re: Pain That Moves

Sometimes different each day or hour or can stay the same place for days or even weeks. No rhyme or reason that I have found.

Re: Pain That Moves

Thank you. I have one that has been traveling around my back and abdomen for 6 weeks. I hope this one goes away soon.
