I've had FM for many years & for about the last year I notice when I try to lift anything heavy or work with my hands over my head , my arms are very weak, trembley & sore for days. I am used to the pain of FM, if you can get used to it, but this is different. I also have adrenal exhaustion problems & at first thought my latest symptoms were from adrenals but now I'm not sure.
Have any of you had this type problems especially those of you that have had FM for 30 yrs. thanks.
Hey Sammi2, although I'm a recent fibromite (Feb 07) I have trembling and did ask if anyone else had this sympton as I wasn't sure if it was a fibro or a MS thing. I get the heaviness and trembling in both arms from time to time although I haven't done any activities to induce such a reaction, but as I said I'm very new to this condition and just wanted to let you know that you weren't alone with this new symptom that you are experiencing. Take care, hope you get answer very soon Snoozyowl
I have reported to my rheumy that I get the "shakes" in my right hand for no apparent reason sometimes. Sometimes it gets so bad I cannot type on my laptop because I can't get my hand still long enough to hit a key. Usually when it happens I just go lie down and kinda massage my arm and wait for it to stop. I may have it happen several times in 1 day and then nothing for weeks.
Combine the shaking with the sudden intense pain I can get in the same arm and it has me concerned about neuropathy because my mom had the same symptoms.
Hi Sammi 2, I'm new here too. I would get so shaky I couldn't write a check without holding my right hand with my left. Some days, not at all. You're not alone.
