I know that most of you have had headaches. But would like to know the intensity, length, and orignation. How bad are they, how long do they last, and what part of the head do they start? I know about sinus headaches but what about a headache that makes you sick? Does anyone have sensitive hearing or sight? I really would like to know for I had a headache and the neighbors talking at their kitchen table was driving me batty. I could hear them through the woods. Has anyone else had that experience?
Just want to know about anyone's headache.

Hi! I have BAD headaches - so bad that the only thing I can do is go to a quiet room and TRY to sleep - which I can't do often since I have three young kids. Sometimes my headaches last a few hours, but it's not unusual for them to last for a couple of days. I heard that a neck pillow may help - but it actually gave me a terrible headache first thing each morning. I also have VERY sensitive ears - loud noises can drive me crazy and I have ear pain almost daily. I also have tinnitis, but I use a sound machine at night to drown out that noise. I've noticed the headaches and tinnitus as much worse on days that I feel alot of pain.

A large majority of FMers have TMJ problems which cause the headaches and ear problems. Mine will also cause fluid buildup for no aparent reason which then amplifies sound to almost an earsplitting ringing

I usually get mine adjusted and have accupuncture done when it gets bad by chiropractor. It's just another one of those you learn to get used to it somehow things we all go through. Take Care, John

Woke up this morning feeling like someone whopped me in the head with a 2x4 while I was sleeping.

I have BAD TMJ, when I went to the doc last week, I had her put her hands on either side of my jaw.........then I moved my jaw. Snap,crackle,pop and she jumped in the air and pulled her hands back......."wow". Time to visit the dentist! LOL!

I think a good percentage of my headaches are TMJ related, I notice that I grind in my sleep when I'm tense and wake up locked and sore. My face is actually tender to the touch most of the time. Hurts so bad today that my eyes are watering.

Did I mention that noise drives me nuts?? My family likes to sit at the dinner table and all talk to me at once, it makes me feel like sticking my head into the oven...... I find it extremely irritating to have noise coming from several sources at the same time.

And a happy Sunday morning to you all! Sigh.

Bonnie, I know exactly what you are talking about. I had my first "sick" headache when I was about 6 years old. Mine were usually triggered by smells of food cooking, I would get totally sick to my stomach, much to my sisters horror, (we shared a bed.) My headaches progressed into migraines by the time I was a teenager. Sounds and light always have bothered me even when I don't feel like a headache is coming on. Sunlight reflecting off a car or water will set off a migraine. When I was a teen and got migraines it felt like someone split my body in half. My entire left side would go numb including the left side of my tounge. I get a fuzzy spot in the center of my vision and my entire vision would eventually go white. This would last for 15 or 20 minutes and that would be the time the nausea would set in. When my vision would clear that is when my head would start to hurt, and it would hurt for a couple of days. Since I take so many anti-inflammatory drugs I rarely have migraines of the magnitude I used to. I recently went through some very mild migraines which usually come 2 or 3 in a weeks time then go away for many months. I am thankful that mine have improved with the meds I am on. At least they help something.
