Childhood history - Fibromyalgia Message Board

I have a several good friends that are suffering fron what has been diagnosed as
fibromyalgia. They all had traumatic childhoods. I would like to hear from as many people as possible about this, both
those that had trauma and did not. There seems to be a link. All(4) of my friends have
very diffrent backgrounds.

I don't really remember anything traumatic in my childhood happening to me. We grew up in a rural area in MD. The only two things that really stick in my mind is that I would be riding down the hill in my wagon and I can't tell you how many times it would flip over and I'd have to go home and get scraps from the street cleaned and "peroxided"
Then we had one incident where the remains of a child was found 1/2 block from our house. The child wasn't from our area so it wasn't anyone we knew.
