FLEXIRIL - Fibromyalgia Message Board

HELLO EVERYONE,
Have any of you been precribed flexiril for Fibromyalgia? If so did you have any luck? the main reason he prescribed it was for the extreme burning and aching in my legs when I try to sleep. My Rhumy prescribed this to me along with continuing my 400mg of celebrex a day for osteoarthritis. Any information on this medication would be greatly appreciated, be it good or bad. yep i've been taking it for almost 2 months now, gave me a really bad hangover and betty spagetti legs, so my dr. also gave me trazadone to take along with the flexeril and i;ve been on the 2 for about a week now and see alot of improvement, it def. helps me slep, good luck with it.

I've been taking it on and off at bedtime for years. It helps with the stiffness and nighttime pain. Not great but better than anything else has. I can't take it during the day because of the sedation.

Me too!!

I am sitting here with a bottle of it staring at me saying, "Take me, Take me"..I don't though, I don't like the hangover or the after taste.

I do have to say though, it works great for a lot of things, but it kills my FM.. I don't know. With my FM, (check me out, my FM, lol) anyway, with mine, I find I have to be super duper cautious about taking any thing that isn't natural. The more time passes, the less stuff I can take..

If it helps you, you know what they say!! I aint throwing mine away yet either. When I sleep in some awful position that only God could comprehend, I get the worst neck stiffness and pain. I can take one Flexaril and be good to go.. I have been taking the same bottle of 30 tablets for 3 months. Ha Ha

Hey, I aint knocking out nothing that works from my vast array of weaponry!! Even if it just worked one time for one thing, IT STAYS!! I may go back to it, I may not!! End of story.....

I wish you luck for real!! You got my support and prayers behind you all the way...
