Anyone tried Provigil for FMS? - Fibromyalgia Message Board

My doctor prescribed Provigil for the fatigue i get from FMS. Provigil is a drug that has been used for narcolepsy since 1998. I was wondering if anyone had success with the drug, and what side effects it caused. Thanks Emerald

I tried Provigil to counteract the sedating effects of my meds, but the benefit was small to nil, with no side effects. I have also taken Dexedrine for yrs to help with Depression; it is a milder amphetamine than Ritalin and has helped me(with the D., tho the sedation remains a big problem). Provigil is worth trying, in my opinion. For you, it might be just the ticket. Al
