Had two foot surgeries around the arch of my left foot for bone spur and excessive scar tissue, respectively.
Had plantar fascitis and Mortons neuroma. The neuroma was surgically removed. I have lots of foot pain, particularly in the am's. Have learned to wear flat shoes and to be very careful doing a lot of walking.
Good walking shoes are a must and in years when I'm having a lot of pain, I wear arch supports.
I also have an interesting situation. I'm off-kilter, one leg, one hip, one shoulder is higher than the other by about 1/4". Makes my skirts & dresses hang funny and throws off my gait. It's bad enough that just about every doctor, therapist and chiropractor who's examined me has commented on it.
