Question Does colostrum take longer for some

Hello everyone. I started taking colostrum 6 days ago to no avail. I don't want to give up as I am waiting for something to help me. Does it take longer in some people or is it I may not have fibro? Kathy

Kathy,

Keep taking it as you have been doing because it will help build up your immune system and help you in other health ways as well. It's not an supplement just for Fibromyalgia, it's use can help many ill people of different illnesses. You finding nothing is happening don't mean you don't have Fibromyalgia. The thing is, have you noticed anything different in your body since you started taking Colostrum? If it only helps your immune system, it will still help you in other health ways.

Our immune system is constantly being attacked by our environment around us.

Such as breathing in the exhaust fumes from running automobiles all day long, the air outside and inside our homes, buildings are always filled with one chemical or another and we breathe it in, without realizing it.

The clothes you wash have chemical from the detergent, fabric softener and &/or bleach.

The new carpet that someone has just bought has chemicals in it, the clue use in flooring, tiling, etc has chemicals in it.

Vinyl and plastics has chemicals in it, today it is unwise to use an plastic or rubber cover over an dish and place in the microwave oven. Those water droppings are not healthy for us and we have been told not to use them and use only glass in the microwave oven. I changed this and have noticed an difference in any food heated up in the microwave.

These are just an few things in our environment that help break down our immune systems and we really do need to keep rebuilding our immune systems. Colostrum is one way in doing so and it's not an waste of time nor money.

Sorry, if I may sound like I am preaching, really I'm not. It's just I know what those chemicals in our environment does personally and don't wish that on anyone in this world. The Colostrum is helping me tolerate some these chemicals better than I had been able to for an long time. It also seems to be helping in removing some of the toxins in my body as well as in other ways as well.

Don't give up unless you think it's not helping you in any way at all. I sure hope it does and will be keeping my fingers crossed.

Just an friend who cares.

Chy

Thumbs up

Thank you very much for your reply. I just believe that I am so anxious for a miracle. I will continue, as I believe that it will benefit me in other ways. You made me a believer! Bye for now, Kathy

Kathy,

I am so glad that you aren't mad at me for the way I posted to you. It just sounded so strong and I didn't want you to think I'm trying to push you into doing something that you may find not working for you. But I do feel strongly that colostrum is helping me in good ways.

It does seem for me that I am experiencing an more intense "cycling" with using the guaifenesin and the colostrum together. But I am still going to take the colostrum, I just may have to decrease my guaifenesin intake. Will see how it goes for an while first.

I am glad that I was the reason that you became an believer. If we are lucky enough that it helps even some of our syptoms for those of us with Fibromyalgia, then it's an good thing. Plus it helps build our immune system and we do need that.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you and please let me and the other know how you are doing in an few weeks.

Waiting to hear.

Chy

I feel that colostrum is just one step in helping yourself. When I was so sick, before I cured myself of these fibromyalgia type of pains, I tried every healthy thing that I could do.

I followed "natural cure", which is finding for the body the perfect set of conditions, so that it can heal itself. I made dietary changes, took herbs, and tried to exercise with numerous experiments.

Eventually I had my mercury-silver dental amalgams removed and replaced with less toxic ones. But the point I'm making, is I feel that you all should try to do everything healthy as well as take these great supplements, like colostrum - if they are helping in any way.

Before I linked my illness to my dental amalgams, I would make spinach and brocolli drinks with my VitaMix. I did everything possible to help. Also I tried bee pollen with success, but it should be made known that bee pollen can cause serious allergic reactions. I know I had problems initially with bee pollen, but stayed with it for years. Now, that I'm better, I haven't taken bee pollen, although I think it's a good idea for some people. Nutrition is so important.

There are other healthy things to do, which also include stress reduction, and limited exercise. There are many things that a person can do along these lines - but it takes a lot of reading and adjustments that one has to make - to fit their own situation. Keep up the good work! You've only begun....
