Hi all.. I am usually on the Diabetes board but thought I would come here for advice. I am a type 1 diabetic and have suffered with neuropathy in the past. It was assumed that it was a complication from the diabetes and I was sent to a neurologist. The neurologist thought I might have MS but determined I didnt. I have never been officially tested for anything else but he thought I had FM.

I stay tired all of the time but most people just assume that is because I have 3 very small children. My kids are 11, 4, 3, and 15 months. Even they should not make me feel as run down as I always feel. I have had my thyroid tested and it came back fine as well as a test for anemia. I have TMJ, back pain, bursitis in my hips, and total lack of energy.

How do you go about pulling for testing and a diagnosis? Is there anything that really works with bringing back your energy level? This has all been going on for a few years now.

I think some of it may be hormonal as I had a hysterectomy in March. I was 29 at the time and had numerous problems that led to the hyst. I dont want to be a downer but this is no way to live... Especially, when I want to be an energetic fun person to be around for my kids. Thank you for any advice you can give
