Fibro and the cold weather - Fibromyalgia Message Board

I know it (cold weather and fibro) has been posted about on here, but I did a quick search and couldnt find it.

I just got in from outside, where it is quite chilly, and my calves were twitching like crazy, and a tightening feeling. My joints also have moment where they are painful (right wrist, left ankle, knuckle on hand...).

Anyone experience similar?

YES! I hate the cold. The pain increases as do muscle spams joint pain and swelling. With me though high heat/humidity, hot baths do this as well so I figure I need about 75 degree dry weather to function.

kdel- the cold AND the heat bother you? This fibro is such a mystery.

Yes the cold and the heat, But there is also a strong possibility that I have Lupus as well or possibly MS. I'm on that crazy diagnosis merry go round. Fibro is definite, I've been diagnosed for over 10 years now. When I was diagnosed my blood work was ok, now it's a mess.

What specifically is wrong in your blood work, if I can ask?

And have they checked your Vitamin levels?
