Do you crave sugar? This works for me.
Since onset of FMS and CMP, I have gained 60 lbs. From 124 to 184.
I binge on sugar and never did this prior. Recently got all the sugar out of my system and white flour. Am no longer craving sugar/white flour products and have lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks, including Thanksgiving where i did eat sugar and bread. (My antidepressant doesn't cause weight gain.) I also quit eating after supper except for 1/4 cup of oatmeal with soymilk and cinnamon and a tad bit of splenda. Very satisfying.
I eat 1/4 cup of oats/flax/cinnamon/soymilk for breakfast and sometimes an egg and or an orange. Chili and a glass of milk and sometimes an apple for lunch, and a protein, 2 veg (I try) and brown rice or a sweet potato for dinner. I take whole food vitamins which cost $23 for 90 and only take 1 or 2 instead of the 3 as directed. I also take malic acid/magnesium, b12 dots, b-complex, biotin twice a day, l-tyrosene 1 to 3 500 mg. tablets (for mood and energy), 1000 mg C, fish oil that comes in orange flavored pudding packets that i just squeeze into my mouth, no fishy taste or burps, ground flax in my oatmeal, CQ 10 and vitamin E. I split them up between bf and lunch and take them BEFORE i eat so no burping. I am rarely hungry between meals.
Anyway, I am feeling just great and wanted to share that. No more bloated/diarrhea/constipation or mood swings or night sweats or cravings. I think I may have reactive hypoglycemia which is pretty common with fms patients.
If you find that you simply cannot get off the sugar and want to, OA helps me.
I just recently started walking on a treadmill and have 3 times so far. I also do A.M. yoga, trigger point stretches, and gentle core exercises as per my pain mgmt doctor each day or twice a day.
Hope I helped someone. I have been battling this for 2 plus years. Maybe this will work for others too.
