bad pain - Fibromyalgia Message Board

I have had fibro for four years.My doctor in huntsville,Ala Is still seeing me but doesn't want to increase my medcine.I take 3 lorcet 10/650 and one percet 10/650 day and they don't seems to work any more.I am so deptrssed.I also see a doctor for that and she gives me aalot of medicine.I have hurt my family so bad.they don't understand the pain i am in.I do crazy things trying to get more medicine.i have been to treatment for addiction,but the non nartiocs medicine just don't help the pain.I am at my whitts end.Please someone help.I am on disability.i have fibro,degentertive disc,depression and aniexty.Please responed ASAP.Thanks,donna

i don't know what to suggest but you have my sympathy, i'm so sorry you're having such a hard time. hugs.

Does the same doctor give you both the lorcet and percocet? Maybe they can just change you to different pain meds instead of an increase? Which works better for you?

My sympathies as well, and like Kdel offers, please check to see if your doctor might change you to something else. Maybe something non narcotic like tramadol. It helps with pain, and is less addicting than the opiates according to what I've heard.
