| Re: Are There Good Foods & Bad Foods For Fm??
Absolutely. I try very hard to stay away from all things white: potatoes, white pasta, bread, etc. Sugar is another culprit. I stopped snacking on my usual Starbursts and Laffy Taffy, and I've noticed a difference. Triggers own't be the same for everyone. Red wine is TERRIBLE!! White wine seems to be okay, but oh man the pain is bad with red wine. Also, many people with FMS are deficient in vitamins, so I eat spinach salads and as many fruits and veggies as I can (I also take a mega prenatal vitamin). Let's see what else...coffee, carbonated beverages, artificial sweeteners. Now I love my Diet Dr. Peppers, but I have learned to drink only a little everyday. Water is HUGE. I've really noticed a difference with this. My body really starts to ache when I don't drink enough water. Water's kind of boring to me so I switch it up with Propel Fitness Water because it has minimal sugar and lots of vitamins.
