| Re: FM Article in Wallstreet Journal
I would be interested to know the reasons behind Dr. Wolfe's about face. What with the majority of us not being able to continue with a profession and tossed from one doctor to another, I can't help but think that there has to be an ulterior motive for this physician to retract his thinking on the syndrome as a whole. I for one am appalled that it is still being seen as a psychiatric type illness, or behavioral as it seems. I wish they could experience one day of the pain we have, then they may be more sympathetic to our plight and get off their duffs and demand that research be instituted to find a cure. Okay that stirred my dandruff.
Additional thought:
I went to the website for the National Databank for Rheumatic Diseases and see that they are still accepting participants in a study of Fibromyalgia. I wonder why one would condone a study for a disease he does not believe in any longer. I think the Psychiatric Community should study Fibromyalgia if that is the category of medicine now where we have been placed. Just another slap in the face to those of us who suffer daily.
