It's been awhile. For those of you who remember me, about the last time I posted I was experiencing difficulties at work with a "difficult" boss. Got a new job with an aerospace company and my boss is so much worse. I have been there for three years and it is the worse experience I have ever gone through. This boss makes my last one look like an angel. I have tried hanging in there for such a long time as fibromyalgia, being 51...goes against you. Now, so many people I work with have suggested getting an attorney. We believe she is bi-polar, but she will not get help. I am her executive assistant so I get the worst part, but everyone suffers. Thought I was going to retire here....but I am now going on interviews.

Enough of that....hope all are doing as well as possible. I am not doing so well as the stress as you know...does a number. But...moving on. Well....going to start jumping on more often. Miss my fibro family!

welcome home kiddo,
sorry life is handing you thorns. there are roses at the top, just hard to see them sometimes.
since we both know your fibro won't allow you to continue the stress cycle you must move on, again. we always are moving on, often we just don't realize it at the time.
what purpose would an attorney serve? is this a case of harassment? if so you must document, document, document. my daughter went thru this. she also has fibro.
question you must ask yourself is, is it worth it to me? realize there is less stress in moving on and learning a new job than in fighting a bi polar boss. only you can decide. i am glad you are searching for a new job. sure gets harder as we age. i think i understand the desire to settle in somewhere to work out till retirement. at our age it becomes vital.
so glad you came home to visit. stick around and bathe in some love and compassion.

Hi wishin, may I welcome you home also. Blue seemed like she hit it right on the money. Moving on can be so much better. I stayed with a job for all the 'right' reasons, but it was really my stubborness. Made my fibro so much worse and drove everyone around me crazy complaining about it. We had an exec. asst. who couldn't take the crazy antics of the GM either, she transferred to another dept. as their assistant. Is that an option for you. Keep looking for a better job and try not to let you boss control your fibro. Come here and let it all out and let us take some deep breathes with you.
