Unfortunately there are no tests right now that prove a definite fibro diagnosis. They basically test you for a lot of other things and rule out other diseases before you get a fms diagnosis. They will also give you the tender point test where they touch certain areas that might not even be hurting you, but when they press on them you want to scream bloody murder...that's fibro lol.
