You are all healers!

I have realized with this last few week absence from the board, how much I need to be here with all of you. Honestly you all help to make me feel better. It is the sharing with others that can understand the way you feel. This has been a bad winter for me as well as many others and I realized about a week ago that I really miss reading and communicating with everyone on the board. I realized that just reading your posts and trying to help someone else has some sort of healing effect.

I am very fortunate to have family and friends that are very supportive, but it is amazing what a help it is to talk to others that understand this disease. So I am going to try to be here more often and not go awol for as long. It is a goal I have set anyway!

A big thanks for being here!

Re: You are all healers!

I agree with you, this is a beautiful place to be and i love it. My husband is happy that i found it also ! Now we talk about things a little more. Sometimes i just tell him i feel lucky after reading some of the threads. His attitude towards me has changed also since he see's me on the board so much. He feels grateful that i have a place to come to where people understand what us fibro folks go through on a daily basis. Those are some very kind but true words that you have said, so i want to say Thank-you for reminding me of how lucky i feel also for finding all of you...... Have a great day and i hope you get to feeling better soon. Sending someone to sit with you

Re: You are all healers!

I, too am appreciative for this board. I can not express how much help I get from coming on here, and chatting with you all. I love to read your posts, and write in my experience if I can. You all have helped me with my health and better understanding fibro.

Most days my phone does not ring, and the only people I talk to is my 2 and 4 year old sons. My husband now approves of my being on here and writing to you all. At first he did not, and actually took the computer away. It was a horrible time for us. He now knows how much it helps me, and makes me feel better about what I am going through, or actually what we all are going through.

I love being on here and I look forward to having my coffee in the morning and reading posts, and writing if I can help. I also, look forward to reading and being an adult.

Thank you all for helping me with my fibromyalgia. It feels like we are all long distance friends now who check in everyday.

Kassandra

Re: You are all healers!

That's such a true statement, Glojer. I gripe so much less to my husband and I have improved so much in some of the social stuff since finding fingertip friends who would not judge and who would encourage. Like Kass, I live with all guys. It's nice to be around gals who understand and it has been so much more healthy a way to live the fm life than all alone! Thanks all!

Re: You are all healers!

Hello,

I also feel so good when I read the post and respond to one here and there. I feel like I have joined a club and a new home. I know we only write. But, it's just so powerfull and knowledgeable. It's like I have known everyone for ages, You are all there when I am down or on the verge of crying because of the pain. Then I come here and it seems to calm the pain some. I've directed my negative concentration to a positive one. I don't know if this really makes sense. I love you all and I send you all a bunch of hugs!! But most of all I wish you all better days

Thanks to everyone for being there.

M
