Mizspent, you are quite welcome. You can come here anytime and vent away. We have all been there, even had one doc tell me I sounded like his wife. When you get past 45 the first thing they say is your not getting any younger, or try to blame everything on menopause. It all boils down to the fact that some docs get the god complex. They are the great healers, they have all the answers. When they don't have an answer they turn it around and blame it on the patient or stress or menopause etc.. The docs I let treat me now are ones that have not been afraid to say they don't have all the answers. Ones who gently ask me how my mood has been and quickly move on when I say 'no problem'. Ones who accepted, without asking me, the fact that I was under stress when my hubby was traumatically ill and no one (including the docs) but me thought he would live. It takes a while to find some of these docs. Like they say you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince. The next time they want to know if you are under any stress, say, I wasn't until you ask me that inane question!
