| What to ask my Rhuematologist?
As per the Federal Aviation Administration's Regulations regarding antidepressants, I am not allowed to be taking any SSRIs as it will prohibit me from flying legally. Even having being prescribed SRRIs such as Lexapro, and even not taking it for the length of time it takes to react with the body, I still have to record it during my next flight physical, which I am going for another one soon, albeit earlier than when my medical actually expires, so I can take care of this problem.
With that out of the way, what should I ask my rheumatologist with regards to his diagnosis of me with FM about a year or so ago? Of course, let him know of the pain I'm having, what I've been doing, what vitamins I've been taking, etc.
But what other things should I mention as other possible treatments? ie: physical therapy? Aerobic therapy? any other vitamins? prescriptions allowed by the FAA? Use of mucinex?
Please help! I'm going to see him tomorrow afternoon.
