Hi all xxx seen my doc yesterday with 5 weeks worth of a symptoms diary and at last she mentioned fibro!!! And said you need to see a rheumy as l cant diagnosis you!!!! Halleluyah!!!( Not to the disease) but at last lm getting somewhere!!! Ive been prescribed some amitriptyline. to take at bedtime for to help me relax help with pain and sleep all night. Hubbys away so l have not started them yet... lm one of those people who look there drugs up and lm abit omg at the side effects lol. Anyone else take them here? I seem to be a bit sensitive to meds cant take codeine phosphate anymore as that makes me feel like lm going to drop and she said it isnt actually a very good pain killer anyway. Thanks girls will let you know how l get on xxx

i am happy for you that you can at last take the next step. keep taking notes for the rheumy.
i just got sidetracked. the surise is rose and violet and it grabbed me. so i harvested some tomatoes and came back here to you. gigle.
i cannot take amitryp. watch out for late night hungers. for me it was sugar and i gained alot of weight. it has taken years to get back to a size 7 instead of 18 and 20.
drink alot of water, even in the evening. it may mean having to get up to tinkle during the night but it's worth it when you weigh the choices. pun intended. giggle.

Thanks for the advice concerning the amy something or other lol I havnt tried them yet lm abit wary

She told me to take them at bedtime so hopefully when l do take them im not up through the night weeing and scoffing my face at the same time lol
