| Re: Anyone suffering from multiple syndromes...not just fibro?
You are welcome, and yes it is great to have these boards to come to! I am 39 now, so don't worry, you have years ahead to acclimate to your changing body....LOL. ok, maybe that was not reassuring. I guess the best advice I can give you in dealing with health issues is it is ok to be concerned, but do not let it rule your life or your happiness. It took me 3 years after my head injury and multiple new diagnoses to come to the conclusion that it sucks to have these problems but it is up to ME as to how I will live with them. I have been told to go home and just function, to get over it, to exercise more, try to be happier, to try to work again, and the list gets ridiculously long on what others have told me to do. It comes down to what you can do, want to do, and can do safely. I have slowly learned that I have to make my own happiness, and not wait for others to come and help with it, to take care of myself, and to do what I can on the days I can and if I don't dust for 6 months who cares?????? Just do the best you can with what you have to work with. I know that more will chime in on here, and probably have better advice, but really just hang in there and deal with each day one day at a time!
