| Is this fibromyalgia?
I posted this in another topic but someone suggested it may be fibromyalgia realated. Does anyone else have this?
I been having this feeling like someone is "pulling down" on my shoulders and the sides of my face around my ears. When I get this feeling, my arms go weak and I feel like I can't hold my shoulders up for long. Sometimes I also feel a little dizzy but not all the time. Does this sound like nerve related or muscle related? I want to see a Dr but I I don't know what kind to see. I heard that a nerve Dr also checks muscles. Is this true or there is there a special Dr for the muscles? I have some digenerative disks in my upper back possible fibromyalgia and TMJ (never been actually diagnosed tho) as well as other back problems.
Thank you for any suggestions
I'll add that I've been to the ER three times thinking it was my heart - I had some chest pains too - been checked by three different drs. Been in the hospital twice and had all kinds of tests and they all say it's not my heart. I've been to the chiroprator had massage therapy. No help. My shoulders are really sore to the touch. Does anyone else have this with fibro?
I'm getting tired of feeling like this and don't know where to turn or what to do. I'm really discouraged.
Another thing I'll add is that I keep getting sharp pains under my ribs like someone is stabbing my ribs with a knife. It's not always on the same side, sometimes left, sometimes right.
