Re: pain pill

I can't take anything but tylenol strictly for pain, and I have to work. Tylenol takes the edge off, if I take enough. If the pain is really bad I'll add Robaxacet but not much as it makes me drowsy. Nothing I can take completely takes the pain away, so I also stretch a lot to try to keep it under control.

Unfortunately, there's no easy answer to your dilemma; what works for one person may not work for another.

Re: pain pill

I take Tramadol along with my Lyrica. I also work fulltime. Tramadol is generic for Ultram and is non-narcotic. Might try that before taking anything addictive. That's the thing with Fibro, have to try many things. And excersize is good too. Helps get you moving and feeling better believe it or not. Just don't overdo. Walking, swimming, etc...
Hope you feel better soon

Re: pain pill

I too, take Tramadol. For me, it doesn't get rid of the pain, but takes enough of the edge off to make it bearable. I purposely don't take the maximum dosage (yet). I will also skip a day or two taking the Tramadol and will take Tylenol and Tylenol PM to help me sleep at night. My worst pain is in my legs and hips, so I sleep with a heating pad which helps my muscles relax a bit. Soaks in a VERY hot bath seem to help me also. I hope you find something that works for you. Wishing you the best!
