I don't have this...but I know some that happens to. It is probably the acid in the tomatoes. I

Re: tomatoe, pasta sauce pizza give me lip sores

I don't know. What I DO know is that I have never had problems with mouth sores or lip sores, cold sores, anything until lately, so I've got to believe it's related to the medication I am on for Fibro. I can be completely fine and eat something and in a instant I will have a raw place on my lip or inside my mouth, it's terrible!

One thing that helps is Anbesol mouth sore rinse. It isn't numbing, but it instantly relieves mouth pain. For my lips, I used Burt's Bees Lip Balm. I know one thing that doesn't help is that I take a med for high blood pressure that makes my mouth really dry, so I need to keep my lips moisturized all the time so that they are not so susceptible to break out!

Hugs,

Pam

hmmm, i'm not on med's for fibro. Anxiety yes. I know that everytime I have pizza, pasta sauce i get this open sore on the side of my lip and it's all scabbed ewwww. I have been putting some lip stuff on it. It looks better then it did since I stopped having anything with tomatoes in it.
