I'm the last of five, my sister who is fourth has also been diagnosed. The older three have never had it checked. The oldest two are fine but I would not be surprised if the third in line has it too. I believe my mother had it because she was always complaining of aches and pains but never went to a doctor. I wish she did because she might still be here today.
Thanks for all the answers so far. I was wondering if the first borns would be included. My oldest sibling has the rhinitis stuff and was at one time diagnosed as having lupus and then later that was called a mistake, but for awhile there she had horrible joint pain. She had to quit for awhile there, but overall she's kept going hard. It would be interesting to know where everyone else is in the birth order. Thanks again.
MamaEarl is new today...!st post...I am number 3 of 3 and 54 years old and the only girl. Actually # 4 if you count Mom's miscarriage. Feeling bitten by fireants starting from my right wrist, slowly working its way up from 4am to my chest at about 8am with drawing muscles when i relax to try and sleep. Thanks for asking!
I am fourth in line of 6 children. Two older surviving sisters both have fibro as do I. I also have Lupus which is the case for about 25% of Lupus patients.
I am the "first" of 3. I put first in quotations because I actually do have an older sister but she was adopted at birth so we weren't raised together.
I am the only one with "fibro". I think my younger sister may have chronic fatigue, as she gets the sore throats etc, she also has IBS.
