could this be fibro?

Muscle tightness, spasms, joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, all randomly in various limbs at random times, but somewhat biased to the right side, sometimes feels like RLS, sometimes feels like arthritis, sometimes like a pulled muscle. Sometimes almost a hot/coldish feeling like an adrenaline rush only without the energy boost.

And how likely in a 32 year old male?

Re: could this be fibro?

Have you been tested for Lyme or anything else? Sounds possible to me that could be your problem. Have to see a Doc to be sure. We can give you tips and gripe on these boards but we can't dx your problem. How long have you been feeling like this? These are symptoms of so many similiar problems. Without the tests you can't know.
Good luck to you...Keep us posted!!

Re: could this be fibro?

3 weeks or so, and it varies each day.

Lyme is possible - but last time I was near anything that could produce a tick bite was in September in Massachusetts. Didn't feel sick or recall a rash.

I go to a neuro Friday - so scared she's gonna say "you have a brain tumor/MS/Parkinsons/ALS". But, I get paranoid.

Re: could this be fibro?

Lyme can show up at anytime if not treated. And you feel sick now don't you. You could have gotten bitten anywhere and September is not that long ago. Like I said there are so many reasons you could be feeling this way and worrying yourself into a tizzy will only make matters worse. Let us know what the doc says and I hope all goes well for you in the meantime...
