any experience with Mometasone Furoate
Last week when I was at the doc's office for my fibromyalgia, I mentioned some itchy skin patches. He thought they might be early psoriasis and prescribed some Mometasone Furoate lotion to be used twice a day for two weeks.
It may just be a fluke, but ever since I started that, my need for pain meds for my fibromyalgia has been cut in half !! I know fibro pain and flares are cyclical and maybe this is just one of those cycles, but has any one else had any experience with this?
A couple of years ago I had contact dermatitis related to the use of a different laundry detergent and my doc had to give me an injection of prednisone. After that, I had absolutely NO fibro pain for almost a week. Too bad you can't live on steroids. This Mometasone Furoate is a steroid but I would think it's a pretty low dose. Is it possible that it is helping with the fibro pain?
Anyone have any input on this?
