My doctor just started me on Lyrica and I can not believe the cash price! But if I don't take them I can't work. Has anyone ever had this issue and are there any other options?
Thanks Teresa

I have taken medication for my bladder that was $300 a month but my insurance covered it. They don't cover my Chantix and it's about $140 a month. There are medications that aren't quite so high, just depends on what your taking.
You might try an online search for a pharmacy discount card. I get them in the mail sometimes, and the program is free.
hi honeybizzle,
welcome to the boards.
you can also contact the company that makes it. often they will discount if your income is low. at least that's what they say on the telly.

Do a google search on Lyrica. The 2nd option is internet drug coupons and tells you how to get discounts. I have a card that gives me Lyrica for a 25.00 copay a month, really helpful!
I am on the guafenesin protocol. This medication costs me $600.00 per year and is very effective at eliminating the fibro gunk from your trunk. If you are interested, read "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Fibromyalgia" by St. Amand.
