well, if anyone feels like reading any of my older posts, feel free.
It all started with joint pain, morning stiffness, ans pure exhaustion.
Then was so dizzy and short of breath that I didn't kno what was
happening, then somehow ended up in hospital with severe stomach
pain and left with skin sensitivity (tingles, hurts to be touched).
And also muscule pain.
Have had TONS of tests done and also have developed a heart arythmia,
which I am now taking a beta blocker for.
They first thought I had MS, then psoriatic arthritis, and lymes disease.
Now that they have not found anything that seems to be physically wrong
I am starting to deal with a possibility or cfs or fibro, and I am wondering
if any of u have went thru the same thing??
I am 23yo female
taking cymbalta
and labetalol
Oh yes, all sounds very familiar.
Good your doctor/s are running all the necessary testings.
Have they not diagnosed you with Fibromyalgia or continuing more tests ?
Keep in mind if there is a fibromyalgia diagnosis, there will still be testings down the road. A good rheumatologist whom understands you, will be of great future needs. Testings will be done periodically as symptoms may overlap with other conditions.
Be patient and kind to yourself as waiting for a diagnosis can be so mind boggling.
Yes that sounds very familiar. Mine started after age 40 (however I had very strange symptoms as a child and young adult too) with allergies, then IBS, then gallbladder type pain, then facial pain, endometriosis....you get the idea. Who would think these things were related? But they are...each symptom has to be tested and addressed before you can come to the diagnosis of Fibro.
Yep...way too familure...You would think that maybe your having a heart attack and or going to pass out. You dont know how or why this is happening and you are so scared you think your dying or something.
The pain with just trying to move my hands in the morning and to try to even brush my hair was almost impossible. The joint pain, the muscle pain...yep very familure.
It is a good thing your doc is checking everything out.
Do you get realy exauhstead too? I have been so exhaustead lately, even more then normal. In alot of pain too lately....don't know why but I am.
Just take one day at a time. Take it easy on yourself...
We are hear if you need to vent or anything!!
(((huggs)))

I am exhausted ALL the time! B12 Complex shots from the doctor helped a lot! But after spending $25 extra a month and also co-pays I could not afford that anymore and have been taking b-complex sublingual liquid. I feel it works just as well. Helps me start my day and keep going. I take 1-3 naps on days off and sometimes just cannot bring myself to get off the couch. My calves have been hurting for weeks and my back has felt weird. My general doc has diagnosed me with CFS and thinks its fibromyalgia, but will not put it on my chart, because of health insurance reasons! (Which i am greatful for)
wow. its so weird looking in on such a thing when i'm not in it. and when you are, actually in it, you just cannot believe it is you.
I truly do not think anyone can understand what you go thru unless it has happened to them.
