(disclaimer: I am in no way endorsing drinking alcohol as a pain reliever or management).
I rarely drink at all, maybe having a few drinks in a year.
But last night at my birthday dinner, I had a couple tropical drinks and boy, was I feeling good there for a little bit
I'm just sayin....lol
and just want to say, that every now and then, when the pain gets me really down, a good drink sure does help relax my knotted, aching, burning muscles

Happy birthday!!! Glad you came here to share your special day. Nothing wrong with having a few drinks from time to time. Even a glass of wine or two daily. If it helps then how bad can it be?? Moderation is key. I have found a wee bit of marijuana very helpful with pain. Can't always afford it but it definitely helps with pain and insomnia. Enjoy!!
peace
Sandra

Happy Birthday!!!
If I have to I take Tramadol early in the day... Then by evening I will drink a glass on wine, takes the edge off... I do notice I don't hurt as bad with the wine Of course I agree with moderation... I try to have just 1 glass & if I drink half of it I figure that if I top it off, it's still just one glass
