New here to the board. A little background before the big question. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's 8 years ago & just diagnosed w/Fibro one month ago. I was having pain in my arms & in my ribs. Everytime I touched the spot it felt sore.
At the same time as the Fibro diagnosis my dr also felt a nodule on my thyroid.
In the last 2 weeks my entire body aches from neck to feet to hands. I get bouts of nausea & am always exhausted. Sometimes it feels like there's something in my throat (probably from the thyroid lump).
I went to see an endocrinologist & am scheduled for an ultrasound next week. Even though he said there's a 7% chance its cancer- I'm in panic mode now.
Big question is-is there anyone out there with similar symptoms.
I feel like crying most of the time.

i can see you having pain from hashimoto's, due to the fact that your thyroid controls a lot of your bodies systems and especially pain and fatigue with fibro, even to the touch, but i wouldn't worry to much about nodules on the thyroid....at least not until you're tested. i have all kinds of nodules on my thyroid and have an ultrasound done yearly. even had a biopsy done on a large one and it was nothing. nodules are very common in most people....they just don't know they have them because most people don't know they're there. sorry for all the pain and i know what you're going through. you'll tough it out...
What you are feeling is normal, for us atleast, except for the lump in the throat... My MIL had hers removed a long time ago & does fine now.
Try not to stress, only causes thing to worsen. I know, not easy but gotta try... Wishing you the best!
